To get my 2.4GHz signal to the roof (about 15 meter cable), I had to use a high quality cable. It was coincidental that I got my hands on a 100m roll of H2000Flex cable. On this frequency it will attenuate about 21 dB per 100m, so 15m will do about 3dB. So half of my power will go into the POTY, and including the connectors (N), it will be probably more. So I installed the coax H2000Flex and will need about 8W to get about three Watt on the POTY. So I need an 8W amplifier at least.
